The First Free 50 Project · 47 of 50 spots remaining

The words we regret most are the ones we never said.

Help us show the world what it feels like to receive a letter from someone who cares. Tell someone you love what they mean to you, and we’ll write it and mail it for you, free.
Speak it or type it. You approve it before it's mailed. Nothing to buy.

Most people never find out if their words truly arrived.

Think about the last time someone truly saw you. Not with a text or a like, but with words that landed somewhere deep.

We started the First Free 50 Project because we believe everyone deserves to feel that. We're looking for 50 people who want to send a letter to someone they care about. With your loved one's permission, we'd also love to hear what receiving it meant to them.

You share. We write. It arrives.

1

You share what's in your heart.

Not an essay. Just the feeling, a memory, or the thing you've been meaning to say. You can type it or record a voice note.

2

We write it by hand, in your voice.

You'll get a text when it's ready to read. You approve it, or ask for changes, before anything is mailed.

3

It finds them.

It arrives in their mailbox, among the bills and catalogs: an envelope with their name on it, in ink. Most letters arrive within about two weeks.

4

They can tell us what it meant.

We tuck a small card inside the letter. If your loved one wants to, they can share what the letter meant through a text, a written note, a video, or a voice note. When they do, we'll share it with you.

A thank-you for being part of this.

As our way of saying thank you for joining the project, the day your letter is mailed you’ll receive 50% off your next letter or 50% off your first month of our Legacy subscription, whichever you prefer.

And if your loved one chooses to share what the letter meant, we’ll thank them too, with a free letter they can send to anyone they choose.

What people say when one arrives.

Fifty letters. Fifty chances to say it.
